Capital One Grand Slam of Curling Announces Draw for the BDO Classic Canadian Open

WINNIPEG, January 6, 2009 – The Capital One Grand Slam of Curling announced today the section groupings and draw schedule for the BDO Classic Canadian Open. The third leg of the men’s 2008-09 Capital One Grand Slam of Curling series, the BDO Classic Canadian Open will take place from January 21-25, 2009 at the MTS Centre in Winnipeg.

The BDO Classic Canadian Open will feature three sections of six teams. Teams are systematically allocated into sections based on their standing in the Capital One Order of Merit rankings as of December 15, 2008. Note: Number in bracket denotes Capital One Order of Merit seeding.
