Grey Power Secures Players’ Championship

Source: Capital One Grand Slam of Curling Release
TORONTO, November 19, 2008 – Insight Sports announced today that Grey Power has been awarded title sponsorship of the Players’ Championship, the eighth and final event of the Capital One Grand Slam of Curling series. As the property’s title sponsor, the annual joint men’s and women’s event has been renamed the Grey Power Players’ Championship.

The 2009 Grey Power Players’ Championship is scheduled to take place from April 14-19 at the Crystal Centre in Grande Prairie, Alta. The tournament will be the final opportunity for Canada’s curling teams to earn points towards securing a berth at the 2009 Canadian Trials.

“All of us at Grey Power are very excited to be associated with the Players’ Championship,” said Catherine Smola, President of Grey Power Insurance Brokers Inc. “In the same way as this event recognizes the skills of the top curling talent in Canada and ensures their participation in the 2009 Canadian Trials, we at Grey Power recognize and reward the skills and experience of our customers by offering them a winning combination of best value, service and insurance products.”
